The garden is flourishing as new seedlings are welcomed into one’s abode.  Flower, fruit, kale, and collard seeds were planted in two additional trays. Now, there are four trays and over two hundred seedlings.  Surprisingly, the Sunflower seeds sprouted only a few days after they were sown. Sunflowers are ones favorite flower to date.  Each morning I have something to look forward to. I rotate the trays to promote stronger growth as they reach toward sunlight. I try to touch and love them often. I believe this greatly assists their development.

Winter and Spring hold spiritual significance in one’s personal life. This garden has become symbolic to sowing and manifesting ideas. Sun is provided by Will. Love and Water are provided by thoughts. Not every seedling will survive and in that there is great beauty. So far I’ve lost one seedling.

Tonight begins a snow storm. Tomorrow one will practice drawing seedlings :). Happy Gardening!

Gardening is an intimate connection with magic and is one’s favorite pastime.  It eases senses and elevates spirit.  Today was the perfect day to begin sowing seeds. The process begins indoors as I nurture and monitor baby plants and prepare them for spring.  Fruit trees and the weeping willow in the neighborhood have begun growing buds, this suggests an early arrival of spring.    Today begins the unfolding of this years garden.  Happy gardening!
